Please see our Contact Us for course details

  • Convenient location

Blake Hall College is located opposite Canada Water tube station in Surrey Quays, South East London.  The area lies very close to trendy spots such as Greenwich, and has very good transport links to the rest of the city.

  • A student friendly campus

Our facilities are newly refurbished, and we have recently expanded our campus to include a new study area for our students.  We also have a modern canteen where you can purchase snacks, centrally located within the premises.

  • Highly qualified academic staff

  • British Accreditation Council accredited

  • We are currently achieving above average academic results

  • Effective learner support

  • Learning Resources

Students are provided with the necessary study guides, which are included in the course price.

A public library is in very close proximity and we have electronic resources available to complement the books and literature for additional research.

(Please note that certain modules may require extra textbooks, which are excluded from the course price.)

  • Investing in your future

Keeping up to date with technology and being completely comfortable in an English classroom are the main reasons for obtaining the new Promethean white board for the Education pathways.  This interactive white board, similar to those used in classrooms throughout the UK, will enable Education students to familiarise themselves with this remarkable piece of technology. Blake Hall is proud to be able to offer the students such benefits as part of their course.

  • Quiet Study Areas

Blake Hall College has recently expanded its premises in order to provide students with a dedicated space for private study.  Students are welcome to make use of the facilities provided for study purposes.

  • Modern Canteen

Relax with a nice cappuccino or hot chocolate between classes or in your breaks, in a sunny and social space.  The canteen also houses a vending machine providing snacks.  The College is also a very short walk from a large supermarket if you prefer to get your favourite sandwich or snack elsewhere.

  • Student Card (ISIC)

Your Blake Hall College enrolment documents will give you access to an ISIC card. This is an internationally accepted student photo identification card that gives you access to:

• Flights, busses, trains and ferries
• Cultural sites, museums, clubs and other tourist   attractions
• Hotels and youth hostels
• Clothing stores, theatres and cinemas

  • Council Tax

Students on a full time course in the UK are exempt from paying council tax on a property they inhabit in certain councils. You can request an application form from your local Council Tax office and we can supply you with a letter confirming your address and full time student status for this purpose. Please contact your local council for details.

  • Computing Facilities

Blake Hall College has an extensive network of computer workstations across the campus for use by students. Our computer facilities provide students with access to the latest in information technology and cutting edge software such as Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2003 as well as Visual Basic .Net 2003 and 2005 for those students pursuing software development as a career. Computers have a high-speed Internet connection throughout the college. Wireless Access for students with laptops will also be available in the study area from October 2006.  Students will also be able to access e-mail facilities from the College.  In addition to providing our students with computer workstations, and printing facilities, experienced IT Support staff are on hand should you need any assistance
