Course outline:
·
40 lectures with compulsory Assignments
·
A compulsory Essay
·
Compulsory wine tasting sessions
of 60 wines
·
A compulsory final examination
·
Optional tutored
workshop : where we discuss any possible
problems, new developments or techniques and taste
at least 8 wines. This is obviously optional as it
may not always be possible, given that students may
be following this course in various parts of the
world, to get sufficient numbers of students
together to conduct such work shops & tastings. We
will nevertheless try to arrange a number of such
work shops & tastings throughout the year in at
least the major centres. It all depends of course on
where the students are from so we have to keep it a
bit flexible until the course has actually started,
only then can we determine the practical
possibilities!
Details about this will be provided to students
throughout the course.
